The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) was founded in 1890. The Janesville Chapter, NSDAR was founded in 1895, is the second oldest DAR chapter in Wisconsin. We are a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. You can learn more about membership here. Our Chapter participates in Wreaths Across America. The Wreaths Across America Day is December 19, 2026 at 11am. We will have a ceremony at the Veterans Section of Oak Hill Cemetery, then lay the wreaths. This is open to the public and everyone is welcome to volunteer to help lay the wreaths.
